Peter Jackson, with his partner Fran Walsh and colleague Philippa Boyens, created, wrote, directed and produced The Lord of the Rings films and The Hobbit (film series). Other productions included The Frighteners, Braindead, Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, Beautiful Creatures, King Kong, and The Lovely Bones.

Peter, Fran, Philippa and Richard have become familiar to fans through interaction with the fan site The One Ring.net, PR interviews, and the Appendices in the Extended Versions of the Lord of the Rings DVDs.
