Patty Hayes was a X-Files fan. She passed away in 2004.
Patty won a Morley Award in 1997 for "The Cavendish Door III," part of a series of X-Files stories that also features a character from The Red Shoe Diaries. Patty gave permission for her work to be posted to alt.tv.x-files.creative, so many of her stories can still be found online.
