A Fan's Comments

[unknown date]:

'PD' was the first author whose work made me believe I could have a voice in fanfiction. And he was one of my first feedback letters, how can I not love him to my grave? 'Carrot and Stick' and 'The Clockwatcher' are MSR classics. --bugs [1]

[1998]:

Plausible Deniability's work has long been an, um, guilty pleasure of mine. This stuff is definitely not for our younger members, but let me just say if you occasionally read NC-17 fanfic this stuff is pretty damn good. Plus, it is usually quite funny as well. A lovely combination that takes place in the story "Blue Christmas" in which Scully makes a rather absurd Christmas wish. And you know what they say about being careful what you wish for.... You also should check out a pair of stories called "The Carrot and the Stick" and "The Clock Watcher" for a humorous look at Mulder and Scully's "first time." [2]

[1998]: It took me a couple of fics to really sit up and notice this writer, but when I did...well, I'm sincerely impressed. Not only with his MSRs which are mature and *very* witty, but with his ongoing saga of the infamous CSM/Teena Mulder affair that has intense characterization, angst and a wonderful period feel, including great "music" from the era. Bravo! [3]
