Open Scrolls Archive is a strictly non-slash archive. "While we have nothing against the genre, we noted that there are many exclusive sites for slash but not so for het. Therefore, Open Scrolls was created to provide het writers a place to host their work."[2]
The focus is primarily on Lord of the Rings (almost 3000 archived stories) but it also hosts fanfic in other fandoms such as Harry Potter, Star Trek, Stargate, Firefly, Star Wars, and Twilight.
