Nonconathon is a recurring AO3 exchange for creating explicit noncon fanworks. Over three years, 480 works have been created for the exchange.[1]
Nonconathon is a gift exchange for creating noncon works. That means explicit works in which one or more people are forced into non-consensual sex.
This fest follows a "no kinkshaming" philosophy. If something (or everything) here is not to your tastes, simply don't view those works or don't participate.[2]
The relationship matching in Nonconathon is notable for its non-standard format. Instead of using the virgule the way canonical relationship tags are formatted on AO3 (for example, A/B) Nonconathon tags are nominated to clearly state which character is the victim (for example, A noncons B) and Nonconathon was the first exchange to use this kind of formatting.
