It was proceeded by Network: A Blake's 7 Zine of Sorts, an August 1992 zine that uses the pseud Cetel Hansen. That zine contains the same content as this slash zine, as well as almost all of the content of the gen sister zine, Network.

From the preface:

Like most Blake’s 7 fans, I found the series just left too many situations and ideas unresolved. I immediately went into a B7 zine reading feeding frenzy, and shortly thereafter began writing my own B7 stories. Network Encounters came together as away to present my local friends with an organized and updated collection of my adult B7 stories, previously dispensed to them a story or two at a time. Realizing that fandom depends in large part on sharing with other fen at large, I also decided it was time to take the leap and go public with Network Encounters, debuting, per tradition, at MediaWest Con.

Contents

  • Preface (1)
  • Synopses (3)
  • Admission ("Returning from a mission on which he nearly died, Avon has retired to his cabin to rest. Blake, troubled by his near-loss, follows him to his cabin, trying to gather the courage to reveal his true feelings for the computer tech. How will a tired Avon react to Blake's admission? Meanwhile, Cally knows something is going on; the emotions emanating from Avon's cabin are quite strong. How will she respond? A Blake/Avon first time love story, with alittle contemplation by Cally.") (B/A) (5)
  • The Bonding Ceremony (B/A) (8)
  • Encounter ("Avon goes to the medical unit to get some muscle relaxant for his troublesome back. Cally attempts to persuade him to allow her to try physical therapy, instead of his resorting regularly to drugs. Cally is about to expand on the offer when Blake blunders in and interrupts. Avon escapes before Cally has a chance to express her feelings for him. Having hoped for some sign of affection from Avon for so long, Cally later pursues him to his cabin in hopes of continuing their discussion. Things proceed rather rapidly from there. An Avon/Cally first time love story.") (A/C) (18)
  • Fantasy ("Blake has had a secret fantasy about Avon for some time. Will the computer tech cooperate in bringing it to realization? A lighthearted Blake/Avon friendship-love story.") (B/A) (23)
  • Fit to Be Tied ("Avon, previously captured and bound helpless by Feds, is found by a frantically searching Blake. Relieved at finding his friend unharmed, and with the Fed base secure, Blake decides to engage in a little lighthearted bondage scene, taking advantage of Avon's predicament. But Avon doesn't see it the same way. Will Blake be able to recover from his mistake? Will Avon be able to get over his fear? A Blake/Avon love-friendship-trust story.") (B/A) (29)
  • Probes (A/B) (34)
  • Reunion -- Alternatives ("Two alternative endings to the Gauda Prime confrontation - one horrible, one pleasant. A Blake/Avon story.") (A/B) (42)
  • Sight to the Blind ("An alternate ending to None So Blind" by Jennifer Hurley, by Jennifer Hurley, as published in Avon Calling #1, 1990, by Up the Rebels Press. Shortly before "Star One", Cally is concerned over Blake's depression, and persuades Avon to give Blake a sexual experience with another man, without Blake's knowing his identity. Avon carries out his plan by posing as a companion for hire on Pronach III. Avon finds himself caught in his own scheme, however, when Blake falls helplessly in love with his hired companion. In the original story, Blake is furious when he figures out the true identity of his companion. I think Blake would have behaved differently, and that difference is this story. A Blake/Avon love story.") (A/B) (44)
  • Surprise ("Blake wants Avon. Bad. Will Avon survive the intensity of the experience? A Blake/Avon love story with a physical emphasis." (B/A) (49)
  • Unexpected Visitor ("Based on the Susan Lovett artwork of the same name. Concerned about Avon after returning from a difficult mission, Blake seeks the computer tech out in his cabin. He finds himself face to face with Avon's unknowing nakedness in the cabin wash room. But Avon doesn't remain unaware for long. How will he react to Blake's stare? Let alone Blake's words which follow? A Blake/Avon first time love story.") (B/A) (51)
  • Why ("Blake has finally consummated his love for Avon. But as the passion fades, he watches the doubts and fears creep into Avon's eyes and expression. Will Blake be able to find the words to reassure his computer tech friend and lover? When he tells Avon he loves him, will he be able to respond to Avon's simple one-word question? A Blake/Avon first time love story.") (B/A) (56)
