fortunately, i quite like this one. phew. i mean - i don't love it, and as with the other A/B/C threesome fic in this zine i'm not sure why cally is there (no, legitimately, not just because it ain't my pairing - she says to blake, of avon when they are both slightly hestitating about fucking a man, 'it's all right - he loves you too'. so blake/avon is for reals - but cally's only in it for the sex. i think. but, having said that, it's not supposed to be a facilitating sort of thing, i think. it's supposed to be 'these three work best together', which i find slightly weird given that cally is... a secondary character, who sadly doesn't get as much to do as either blake or avon in the show), but there's lots of very nice dialogue in this one. and i like cally forcing the two rubbish men to be a bit less rubbish to each other. and the sex is pretty good. if we're tracking classic zine tropes, btw, this one has two backrubs. it also has a nice scene in which avon is trying to brief blake about a mission (or whatever) while blake is being rubbed by cally, and blake is relaxed and just enjoying it and avon is like 'argh, blake is so naked AVERT YOUR EYES AND TRY NOT TO LOOK AWKWARD, AVON. JUST DO IT'.
