"I blame Trek fandom for unleashing their ghastly youngsters on an unsuspecting public. If they spent less time swanning around in costume and running fanfiction archives of dubious morality, and more time attending to the upbringing of their own next generation, this sort of thing wouldn’t happen." ~ from "Mina de Malfois and the Young Blood (part three)"

The Mina de Malfois zine series is a three volume set retelling the life of a fictional fan of a fictional TV show, Sanguinity. The stories were written by Mina de Malfois and published as online serials, each written in groups as if they were tracking seasons of a TV show. Eventually they were gathered together into a 3 volume set and offered in print form. Because the stories often refer to real occurrences taking place across media fandom, a second set of Bound and Annotated volumes with footnotes and commentary have also been published.
