Canon

Meera and her brother Jojen seek Bran out when Jojen has visions indicating that they should help him. Meera, Bran, Jojen, Hodor and Summer travel north of the wall to bring Bran to the three-eyed Raven, Jojen dies on the journey. After training with the Three-eyed Raven for a long period of time, the Raven's home is attacked by the White Walkers. Hodor and Summer die during the attack, but Meera is able to get Bran away. She returns Bran to Winterfell, where she leaves him after he says he doesn't need her anymore.
