M.I.B. is an X-Files story by Peggy Li.
It was originally posted to alt.tv.x-files.creative (as "MIB") in June 1994, making it one of the very first X-Files fanfics posted online. See List of Very Early X-Files Fanfiction for similar works.
It was printed just under a year later in the zine Travels With Mulder #1.
This story inspired another writer to created Bokor Holiday, something that caused some tension.
Author's Summary
"Mulder and Scully are racing to find the truth behind "The Erlenmeyer Flask." The "man in black" may be their only ally—and worst enemy."
