Ltlj is a prolific writer in several fandoms. She's been active in Star Wars, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Stargate Atlantis, and The Untamed fandoms. She has used four pseudonyms: Martha Wilson, Randi DuMois, Victoria Custer, and a professional name that is not identified here on Fanlore.

Ltlj wrote gen, het, and slash in all three fandoms.

Star Wars

She first became active in Star Wars fanzine fandom in the early 80s, and her first fan fiction story was "Hunting the Hunter," published in the fanzine On a Clear Day You Can See Dagobah in 1986, with sequels in issues #3 (1987) and #4 (1988). The other fanzines that she had stories in were

Her story "Trying Again" was a Fan Quality Award Winner for Best Star Wars gen story in 2001 at MediaWest*Con.

She was the creator and archivist of the web site the Corellian Embassy, which went online in July of 1998, with co-owner Carolyn Golledge. The site was an internet archive of fanfiction that had previously been published in print fanzines, most of which hadn't been available since their publication in the 80s and 90s. In June of 2006, The Corellian Embassy was adopted by Aquarius, editor of the Star Wars site This is Some Rescue.

Hercules: The Legendary Journeys

In January 1999, she started the web site the Less Than Legendary Journeys, which was a fanfiction site for Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Young Hercules. The site hosted fanfiction by a group of writers (Helena Handbasket, Naomi Prince, Liz S., Carolyn Golledge, Fyresong, Mary Crawford, and various pseudonyms) who wrote stories that were all part of the same shared universe. She also started The Hercules Universe, a link listing for Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Young Hercules sites. She is still co-moderator (with Mary Crawford) of the Live Journal herc_iolaus community.

She was also the editor of The Less Than Legendary Journeys (Zine), which contained stories from the web site. It was sold each year at MediaWest*Con, and ran for six issues, starting in 2000 and ending in 2005. The profits from each issue were donated to Auckland Ronald McDonald House and Teaching Tolerance, a project of the Southern Poverty Law Center. It was a 2001 Fan Quality Award winner for Best Hercules: the Legendary Journeys fanzine. Her story 'Norse by Norsewest Revisited' (also published in The Less Than Legendary Journeys (Zine) also won a FanQ Award that year.

She originally created the Ltlj Live Journal to use as an update page for the Less Than Legendary Journeys site. When she began to use the journal as a personal journal and for posting fan fiction in Stargate Atlantis fandom, she took the username as a new pseudonym.

Stargate Atlantis

Around September 2005, she started the web site Water Gate, to archive her Stargate Atlantis fiction. She also had stories in the Stargate Atlantis slash fanzines Surfacing Volume 1 by Duet Press, and in Constricted by Plot, a commemorative slash zine for the convention ConStrict 2007. Her Retrograde stories were also collected in a fanzine, Stories From the Retrograde Universe, in 2007.

Original Fiction

She has also written original fiction.
