Why we love it: The writing in this is very well done. The characterizations are right on the money. The slow build over the course of a few days has a very natural feel to it. We love the trope of going from friends to something more and this fic does it spectacularly well.[1]
NC-17. Danny takes Steve home to New Jersey for Christmas. So, lots of noisy relatives and hockey and siteseeing and overeating and then one of the funniest sex scenes in the fandom. ♥[2]
Danny's going to New Jersey for Christmas and dragging Steve with him. Steve, who's never really had a big family holiday. *koff* Danny's in his element; Steve's maybe a tiny bit shell-shocked. Maybe. Just a bit. *g*[3]
