Lassegalen's Lair is a fanart site with Lord of the Rings slash manips.

1. METHOD: The artwork of Lassegalen's Laire is created by yours truly in Adobe Photoshop 5.5. All the Laire images (except those tiny few in the Artwork section) are photo manipulations. There are usually 5-20 source pix from which I have pieced together various elements to create a new original image. I get many questions regarding the how-to's of photo manipulation, and though I encourage other artists who are eager to give it a stab, I am unable myself to embark on a tutorial of how to go about it.[2]

From Legolas In Chains: "Lassgalen's Laire is Home to the fabulous Photo Manipulations by Elisa! She's also my first affiliate, and the one who nagged(asked) me to make the StickFigure Banner below...You have to check out her site."[3]

The page started out with very strong warnings that got stronger the longer the page was online.

Glad to see you're still with me... There's a bit more to go through due to circumstances beyond my control.

THIS SITE CONTAINS SLASH - MALE/MALE HOMOEROTICA

So where have you landed yourself? Basically you've just dropped right into the thick of the Lord of the Rings slash world. You're standing now at the doorway to an erotic slash fanart site--a site that contains very realistic images of princely elves and kingly men deeply in love and passionately embracing each other. This site is 100% FANTASY, homoerotic fantasy, but fantasy all the same. The images inside, no matter how real they may appear are NOT REAL at all. They are pieced together from hundreds of different source pictures to create new original artwork for a fandom that is so popular and so rampantly enjoyed by so many. Slash is created out of love about love--unconventional love some may say, but love all the same. Make no mistake, these works are not done out of spite or malice, but for enjoyment, both my own and for the vast audience my work has acquired. No copyright infringement is intended with these images and this site is in no way affiliated with the official works of JRR Tolkien, Peter Jackson or any of the actors whose likenesses appear in the artwork. Of course due to the very mature subject matter on this site, new security efforts have been applied to make sure that before entering you know exactly what you're in for. You must be of an open and mature mind to view the work. If you're a rabid slash fan who's just desperate for your fix, then please bear with me a little longer ;o) Because these images are homoerotic, they are intended for the people who enjoy reading, viewing and creating Lord of the Rings homoerotica. Because of their controversial subject matter, it is inappropriate and irresponsible to post these images outside of the fandom for which they were intended. Hopefully if you've made it to this page, then you truly are fan and not someone who is going to be confused or unappreciative of the nature and purpose of slash in this particular form. IF you are honestly interested in seeing this site's slash fan art, there are highlighted letters throughout the above disclaimer that spell 2 words. These words are your key to entering the site. First word is your Username, second is your Password. Both are subject to change at random in the future.
