Carol S is a fan vidder who began making vids in the late 1990s and released several songtape collections under the name "Basement Productions." In the late 1990s and early 2000s, she vidded as part of The WOAD Society and also released several songtape and vid DVD collections as part of that group. She currently is on the Vividcon concom. She has also written slash fan fiction.
Carol S is notable because of the inclusion of one of her vids in the Escapade Vid Show Retrospective 1992-2001. The Buffy the Vampire Slayer vid included the song When You Say Nothing At All by Alison Krauss.
