A Live Kennedy Universe does not refer to an alternative universe in which President John F. Kennedy and/or his brother Robert were never assassinated.
In Hornblower TV fandom, a Live Kennedy Universe (or LKU) is a kind of AU in which Archie Kennedy does not die at the end of "Retribution".
Compare "DKU", or "Dead Kennedy Universe", which is shorthand for a canon-compliant Hornblower story, not an alternative universe created by the Dead Kennedys.
