Jawamonkey, now monkiedude, is an influential popslash writer, mainly active during the early days or "first wave" of the popslash fandom. Her website, This Big Mix, was hosted by illuminations.nu; in addition to fic, it contained a fandom primer and Timbertone and JoeC focused rec lists.
Jawa often collaborated with fellow writer CJ Marlowe, as both were big fans of Joey dominated pairings.
She gave blanket permission to podfic circa 2008.[1]
