In 1982, she was nominated for a FanQ award and submitted the following bio to The Annual Fan Q Awards Nominations Booklet:

"Jackie Paciello...has been nominated 3 consecutive years for Fan Q Awards. She first entered Star Trek fandom in 1975 when she had the good fortune to meet Jan Lindner, Judi L. Hendricks, and Poblocki. Working on the then-mimeoed PEGASUS II as a gofer, she was promoted to Co-editor with the offset tar Trek-turned Star Wars PEGASUS III, a position she continues to held. Her first work was a ST story published in PEGASUS II , but she has since broadened her horizons and had one of the first Star Wars stories published in WARPED SPACE. Her works have since appeared in MOONBEAM 3, WARPED SPACE, PEGASUS 4 and 5, SYNDIZINE 1 and 2 and SKYWALKER. She is currently writing "The Continuator" series for WARPED SPACE and is soon to have her first DOCTOR WHO vignette published in THE FACES OF TIME."
