Naturally, this 'zine contains TACS beautiful art. Besides the cover and two interior color illos, there are many small b/w graphics throughout. These b/w's are TACS' art from other 'zines... As AMC's description reads, Jim is out of town and Blair is a snoop! To be honest I had the tiniest bit of trouble believing Blair would actually read Jim's journal, and over the course of several days, too! But the journal is very touching and I can't help but be glad Blair couldn't resist. The journal begins with Jim's and Blair's first meeting. Interspersed throughout the readings are Blair's reactions to what Jim has written, along with a few phone conversations with Jim and breaks for Blair's other duties. The author writes in great detail about most of the eps up to Prisoner X. Not all the episodes are covered, but it's interesting getting so much of Jim's POV for the ones that are. As time goes by we see Jim's changing feelings for Blair. It's really very sweet, angsty, funny....quite the journey! Jim returns from his trip on page 100 so the journal part of the story has ended. They spend a wonderful evening together and as they retire Blair is determined to confront Jim the next day about his journal reading transgressions as well as confess his love. However, fate isn't so kind as the next day Jim gets the news that a friend serving time in Starkville has been killed. The remainder of the 'zine takes us through the events in Prisoner X and ends with plenty of hot sex!
