Inside The X also known as the The X-Files Scripts Archive, is an X-Files script archive maintained by DrWeesh. It has all the scripts, word-for-word (so-called episode transcripts) and is a great resource for writers.

InsidetheX has archived all the transcripts of 210 of the 216 episode of The X-Files (including both movies FTF and IWTB and most of the Season 10 episodes) as well as all 13 episodes of the XF spin-off series The Lone Gunmen. It has been last updated on 2018-01-03.

It also features the transcripts for The X-Files - Fight the Future DVD Commentary as well as The Simpsons-X-Files parody/homage episode The Springfield Files.

History

Initially in the 1999 version, the transcripts were provided as PDF files, and were later converted to HTML. The site also had an X-Files Tagline Randomiser which used Java.

The site was inspired by Tiny Dancer's X-Files Episode Guide:

Manifesto (1999)

"(...) I decided to put this site on the world wide web after visiting Tiny Dancer's X-Files Episode Guide. Her site has been in my bookmarks files longer than any other XF site, and the scripts here are also available in plain text format there. Now teamed up with Daniel Wood at Fandom, visit their new site immediately (well, obviously after you've finished here!) it's bursting with all the information you could possibly need on anything to do with the show, along with spoilers and background info!

These scripts are the very hard work of some very important people who take the time and effort to tirelessly produce them after each episode. This project started a couple of years back on TD's site, and since then every episode has gradually been accounted for due to dedicated fans. CarriK in particular has made this all possible, contributing more than 50 scripts, including most of Series 5 and all of Series 6 and 7. Give her an email to let her know she's appreciated and congratulate her on such a great job. Vic Vega also deserves a mention for contributing over 35 scripts particularly Series 1 and 2.(…)"
