Reactions and Reviews

This collection, along with the sequel I Feel a Filk Coming On, contributes to the popular genre of "filks" wherein writers take a popular tune or showtune and rewrite it with fan-appropriate lyrics. These volumes contain versions of "Gilligan's Island," "The Beverly Hillbillies," and skewer Rod Stewart, Michael Bolton, Meatloaf, and Mister Rogers. Make sure to inqure about the small supplement Trekkin' Around the Christmas Tree. [1]
