Hurricane, which premiered at Escapade Escapade/Escapade 2010, is a very persuasive constructed reality vid.
It features Aeryn Sun from Farscape encountering Kara Thrace from BSG.
Clever cuts and editing showing character parallels, and the addition of footage from neither canon[1], make the crossover and implied relationship -- two fighter pilots walk into a bar, an exceptionally hot one-night stand results -- work amazingly well.
In 2010, cozzybob reviewed the vid as part of the vid commentary series.[1]

"It all was born of a deep, as-yet-mostly-unfulfilled need to read Starbuck/Aeryn fic. I can't remember what originally gave me the idea, but once the thought occurred, it was an Unstoppable Force: two hot pilots with serious mommy issues and deeply frustrating boyfriends, both with strong tendencies toward independence and unhealthy ways of expressing their emotions, meet in a Space BarTM and get it on. I found and continue to find both of them really hot, and I tend to identify with both of them in an "if I lived in the future I hope I would be this cool" kind of way."[2]
The vid had its con premiere at Vividcon in 2011.

Aeryn Sun/Starbuck, and if that pairing alone doesn't make you sit up and cheer, I just don't even know what to say to you. [...] This is something everyone should see. I don't care if you don't watch Farscape. I don't care if you can't remember if Starbuck is the girl or the guy pilot on BSG (girl, for the record). This the story of two pilots who fuck each other, and it is hot like burning, and you should watch it right now.[4]
Kara Thrace/Aeryn Sun! Two of my favorite characters in all of sci-fi, together at last. The vidder does an excellent job of bringing out the many, many similarities between the two, and the crossover femmeslash pairing is so well done you almost wouldn't know these were characters from two different shows. As my co-mod a commenter said, I don't know why more things aren't on fire from this particular combination of badass and sexy. :D[5]
