harry_potter_slash was a Harry Potter Yahoo! Groups mailing list for slash fanfiction. It was associated with The Wonderful World of Makebelieve, a multifandom archive, and stories posted to the list were archived at the WWOMB.
As of September 2005, the group had 3,585 members and had received over 8,000 messages. The height of activity was in July 2005, with 719 messages posted that month.[1]
The group was deleted unexpectedly by Yahoo! in November 2005, along with the owner's Yahoo! ID. Peja decided not to recreate the list on Yahoo!, but directed previous members to the HarryPotterSlash list on squidge.org. Most of the fanfiction posted to the list was preserved and posted to the WWOMB archive.[2]

Main pairings will be - Harry/Draco, Harry/Draco/Ron, Harry/Ron, Ron/Draco, Percy/Oliver, Harry/Snape, Remus/Sirius, Remus/Snape, Remus/Sirius/Snape, Fred/George, Harry/Sirius, Harry/Remus/Snape, Harry/Remus/Sirius, Ginny/Hermione.Authors, introduce us to your favorite couple. We encourage previously veiwed [sic] and new release stories.
Readers, play your part by feeding the authors. Its more important than you may realize...and the only pay an author of fanfic gets.
All the stories will be considered direct submissions to the multi-fandom/lists list archive, the WWOMB and as such be posted to the list archive unless they include a direct DO NOT ARCHIVE notation[3]
