Harry Potter and the Garden of Secrets (ハリーポッターと秘密の花園, Harry Potter to Himitsu no Hanazono)[1] is a Harry Potter doujinshi by Office Akujo.

It contains several gag stories featuring a variety of characters. It is mostly gen but may contain slight Draco/Hermione, Snape/Hermione, and/or Ron/Hermione.[4]

This doujinshi has been scanlated by Aku Tenshi/Impending Doujinshi, though the scanlation may be incomplete (three of the five total stories).[5]

Summaries & Reviews

Part 1 is about how Draco stole Hermione's.... heart? O_o
Part 2 - Adventures of Harry and his... hair.....
Part 3 - Harry and gang have a Snowball fight!

This whole anthology of stories are all quite funny and entertaining^^ The first story is my favorite since that's like my favorite pairing~ XP[5]

Comprised of three very funny stories about Harry and the gang. The first one is about Draco unintentionally stealing Hermione's "heart" (I like this one best out of the three; it's just so cute). The second one is about Harry and his, eh, hair. The last one is about the Gryffindor having a snowball fight. The art for the three stories is different because each one of them is drawn by a different member of this doujinshi group. But there is this one large picture of Harry that looks absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended if you want to have a laugh.[6]

This is a very cute doujinshi. The art is good, although some stories have better art than others. There are several stories in this doujinshi. In the first one, Draco and Snape steal Hermione's heart to Harry and Ron's horror. It's a very cute story. In another, Snape is turned into a giant snowball and Hermione accidentally gives Harry a strange haircut. In the last story, Hermione screws up a potion in class when she's sick and Snape is Not Happy. All the stories here are fairly cute.[4]

I got this doujinshi after reading a fanscanlation of the first story. *grin* I'm very glad I got this one. Good artwork and good story work. It is fairly easily to follow along and has plenty of visual gags!

The first story, 16 pages, is where Draco steals Hermione's... heart! *grin* Quite Draco X Hermione potential. This story probably took place around their first or second year since they still look pretty young and childlike.

The second story, 16 pages, is where Ron and Hermione decide that Harry needs a haircut and "tries" to help him! *chuckle*

Third story, 17 pages, is a big snowball fight which involve Harry, Ron, the Weasley twins, Neville, Hermione, others, the Whomping Willow, and to some extent Dumbledore! Snape tries to stop everyone but ends up getting pelted and turning into Beserk!Snape snowman! *laughs*

Fourth story, 13 pages, has Hermione getting reprimanded by Snape for messing up a potion in class. Harry and Ron don't see what the big is about and Ron and Hermione end up mad at each other. While studying separately Hermione drops her books off the table, and Ron tries to help her by picking them up. He then finds out she is feverish and Harry and Ron help her to the Infirmary.

Fifth and Last story, 10 pages, happens during CoS where Hermione is left in the bathroom after her failed polyjuice potion. Myrtle teases Hermione whiel they wait for Harry and Ron to get back. Hermione looks cute with little cat ears! *grin*[7]

The first sequence Office Akujo presents is a story about Hermione running into Draco while she's sneaking around the halls at night. However, her true affections are for Professor Snape. This story leads into a more humorous comic about Harry having nightmares about bad hair. Hermione and Ron decide to give him a haircut, which doesn't exactly turned out as planned. The third book is a fairly long story depicting a snowball fight that breaks out among the students, and with the help of the Weasleys' pranks, it soon involves Snape, Dumbledore and McGonagall. The second part of this winter-themed story is about Harry, Hermione and Ron sneaking out at night to play in a snow cabin. This is followed by a cute short where Hermione and Ron are fighting, but end up settling the argument once Ron becomes less stubborn. The last comic is a depiction of Hermione's thoughts as she sits in the bathroom stall during the Chamber of Secrets Polyjuice Potion failure. Because of Moaning Myrtle's taunts, Hermione reflects on her life as a Muggle, and being teased both by human children and the Slytherins at Hogwarts (Draco in Particular). However, her unhappiness is quickly lifted when Harry and Ron come and help her to the hospital wing.

This was one of the most well drawn doujinshi I've seen so far. In all but the two last comics, the characters were depicted in a most beautiful way. The plots were easily understood, even by only looking at the images, and featured highly entertaining situations. Especially in the first story, the characters interacted with a degree of realism seldom seen in amateur products. I'm happy to see a circle that draws Professor Snape both timely and attractive. ^_^ No wonder Hermione is pursuing him! I also thought the dynamic between Draco and Hermione when they're cowering under the Invisibility Cloak together was absolutely precious and wonderfully played out.[8]
