Greta Van Fleet is an American hard rock band, consisting of vocalist Josh M. Kiszka, guitarist Jake T. Kiszka, bassist Sam F. Kiszka, and drummer Danny R. Wagner. They were formed in 2012 in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and have grown a large following in the past few years of growing success. The fans of Greta Van Fleet (members of the "peaceful army", or simply GVF fans) have joined others in the classic rock bandom.
Fanfiction
Greta Van Fleet fanfiction is present on sites Tumblr, Rockfic, Archive of Our Own, Wattpad, Deviant Art. It consists largely of band member x (female) reader works, but there is also a growing collection of slash fiction, as well as longer fanfics with original characters. The most popular ship for Greta Van Fleet on Archive of our Own is currently Sam Kiszka x Danny Wagner. The ship is known as "Sanny".
By an unofficial survey's results, Tumblr user @satans-helper (Ao3: theLazarus, Rockfic: bananajubilee, Wattpad: bananajubilee) is by far the most popular Greta Van Fleet fanfiction writer, with works such as "Chambers of the Heart" and "Looking For Space". The presence of slash fiction, particularly incest slash fiction between the three Kiszka brothers, causes some controversy and discomfort; however, the amount of fiction of those pairings slowly continues to grow. There is also controversy over GVF member Daniel Wagner for various reasons, with some fans disliking him and others feeling that that dislike is tearing the fandom apart.
