fandomcalendar is a Dreamwidth promo comm for fannish events such as big bangs, exchanges, kink memes, and even IRL events like conventions. It was started in 2009 by stultiloquentia and as of October 2019 has 2,242 journal entries, 1697 members, and 2488 subscribers. When it started it was intended to be a newsletter community[1] but currently the comm consists entirely of event promos posted by individuals. Fandom Calendar is where most exchange fandom and related events get promoted.
