FictionAlley Park was a Harry Potter message board community, part of the FictionAlley archive.
In 2005, there were at least 100,000 registered users.
A 2001 message regarding moderation: "...for the first 4 weeks of the existence of FAP, there was no modding. We basically threw the park up there and let it exist. Eventually, we realised that we might need to look at it every so often. And the rest is history. [1]
The FictionAlley archive was moved to the Archive of Our Own as an Open Doors Project starting in 2018. Although the announcement stated that FictionAlley Park would remain at fictionalley.org "in some form",[2] the site and the forums have been offline since around late 2020.
