Dreaming of Sunshine, in addition to being a 700,000+ word, 150 chapter self insert Naruto fanfiction, is a podfic read by jacksgreyson since 2014.[1] When jacksgreyson started recording, there were only about 80 chapters. Their recordings caught up with the fic in May 2017.[4]

Publication History

The podcast was first released via SoundCloud in 2014. In July 2017, jacksgreyson started using Mixcloud in addition to Soundcloudbecause jacksgreyson's Unlimited Plan on Soundcloud would run out in December.[5]. It switched over to MixCloud entirely in September, 2017.[6] and MediaFire. In December 2017 it stopped uploading on Soundcloud In an effort to make the podfic more accessible, jacksgreyson began using Anchor to upload the episodes to iTunes once a week starting at the end of May, 2018.[7]

Reincarnation Roulette

In October 2016, jacksgreyson put out a call for other people to read chapters of Reincarnation Roulette, Silver Queen's alternate reincarnation anthology series, which is often considered a part of the Dreaming of Sunshine fandom's canon. The post read:

If you’re a fan of Dreaming of Sunshine, then you’ve probably also read and enjoyed Silver Queen’s Reincarnation Roulette (if not, then I highly recommend it).

I’d like to moderate a podfic for it, and I think it’d be interesting if every chapter had a different narrator (since every chapter is a different SI!OC). This is a feeler post to see if anyone is interested in contributing.
