Dragonlore is a gen Dragonriders of Pern and fantasy anthology zine of fiction, art and articles about dragons.

The editor, in a contributor's letter, wrote

Dragonlore is not limited to dragons, but to all areas of fantasy in general, with the emphasis on original material. We are mostly interested in fiction, poetry, music, etc. ... Issue #1 is dedicated to Anne McCaffrey, and therefore contains several stories and poems based on her books, but the basic format is set as to what sort of stories, etc. we want. Originality in fantasy is the key. ... In general, I do not want to see much of anything on Tolkien. There are many Middle-earth clubs and zines, and it really doesn't belong in Dragonlore. Remember, the emphasis is on original material.
