Danny Rand is a Marvel Comics character known as Iron Fist.
Canon
Iron Fist first appeared in Marvel Premiere #15 (May 1974) created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane. Danny Rand is a martial arts master and the wielder of a mystical force known as the Iron Fist, which allows him to summon and focus his chi.
MCU
Danny Rand made his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the Iron Fist television series portrayed by Finn Jones. He is a main character in The Defenders television series as well.

Danny Rand has also appeared in The Super Hero Squad Show, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man and Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload. Danny Rand also appeared in various video games.
