I think I'm totally messing up creating these categories Marion Zimmer Bradley and Darkover categories. Can anyone help? --MPH (talk) 18:38, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

This is what I have so far. "Marion Zimmer Bradley" is the lead category. The Darkover things are under that:

Marion Zimmer Bradley‏‎
Marion Zimmer Bradley Fan Interviews‏‎
Marion Zimmer Bradley Meta‏‎
Darkover‏‎
Darkover Fan Clubs‏‎
Darkover Fanfiction‏‎
Darkover Meta‏‎
Darkover Zines‏‎ --MPH (talk) 18:40, 17 May 2017 (UTC)

MPH, this is the category structure that makes the most sense to me:

  • Marion Zimmer Bradley
    • Marion Zimmer Bradley Fan Interviews
      • Darkover Fan Interviews
    • Marion Zimmer Bradley Meta
      • Darkover Meta
    • Darkover
      • Darkover Fan Clubs
      • (eta) Darkover Fan Interviews
      • Darkover Fanfiction
      • Darkover Meta
      • Darkover Zines
    • Mists of Avalon

The Darkover subcategories should be under Category:Darkover (which itself is under Category:Marion Zimmer Bradley) and can also be included under the MZB subcategories. What do you think? --sparc 22:26, 21 May 2017 (UTC)

Yes, this looks good. Thank you. Now, how to implement? Perhaps you can assist and put me out of my misery? As you can see from the Recent Changes page right now, I'm gnashing my teeth in frustration at trying to figure out how to make them all work right. --MPH (talk) 22:38, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
Ok! I think that worked? I didn't see any Fan Interview categories, but those can be added in once they're ready. Does it look all right? --sparc 23:42, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
Is there some reason why Darkover Fan Interviews and Darkover Meta can't also be put in Category:Darkover? (I assume they'll be cross-classified under Interviews and Meta as well.) People looking specifically for Darkover things probably would find that handy. --Greer Watson (talk) 23:58, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
No, you're right. Darkover Meta is under both but I forgot to include Darkover Fan Interviews in my list since that category hasn't been created yet. I updated it accordingly. --sparc 07:00, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
