Reactions and Reviews

This was a story with a lot of angst and drama, interwoven with a simple yet detailed plot. And I mean that as a very definite compliment. The author took an interpretation of Data I would never have thought of in a million years and made me believe it, despite myself. That story really *lived* for me. And I'm still waiting for the sequel! It's sure to be excellent. [1]

This is an incredibly good story, with an interpretation of Data that will throw you for a loop the first time around. After the shock is over, it feels very, very believable. I love this story, as tortured as it is. The interaction between Lore and Data is excellent. I would love to see a sequel to it. [2]

This has to be by** far** the single best piece of fanfic I've ever read. The characterizations are so spot on, the descriptions so accurate - you can literally see this one right in front of you. Lore is back, and the bad boy shows character depths you never imagined he had, and the scenes where Data and Jenna get back together again are both gripping and heartwrenching. There's the promise of a sequel, and I eagerly await it! [3]
