'Busman's Holiday' by Jay Trent - 18pp. The title says it all. It's an established relationship story, set in Scotland. Bodie and Ray are on holiday and get caught up in a case of someone steeling gelignite.

It is an interesting insight of an off duty Bodie and Doyle. Ray draws, they both enjoy long walks and they are both clearly totally relaxed with each other. Their love is clear, but not overly romantic. The sex is not explicit, and happens in secluded places out of doors. It is a gentle meander through their holiday.

The characterisation is quite good; the focus is very much on the partnership, the friendship, and the relationship. They are close without being soppy or overly romantic.
