A brony is an adult, male fan (most often ages 18 - 34) of the children's cartoon My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and My Little Pony. Many bronies create pony art, post fan videos on YouTube and contribute to threads on 4chan.
The term is a combination of "bro" and "pony."
