The editorial:

Editor's Place: This is my first fanzine. So my innocence in the fandom of Star Trek is genuine. For years I have tracked down other fanzines and read them. And for years I have always wanted to create my own zine. If they can do it so can I. Now in 77 I came up with B.O.F. and my poems. I sincerely hope you all will enjoy this fanzine. To me if a writer creates reality to his reader, then he has won part of the battle. That is what I try to achieve.

If you want to send you poems, or artwork, and short stories, I would be honored to include them into B.O.F. book two. But please remember, they should be about Vulcan or Earth history. It could be ancient or present history. Like a good stori [sic] could be about how Terrans and Vulcans met each other. Interesting!... It was written in Star Trek's Poster Book, that Vulcans and Terrans met each other in the 22nd Century. Hope all of you get your Poster Book from the book store. Color thru and thru.

Startrooper, you will find is a info mag. about cultures and songs stories, humor, laws, customs everything a cadet should know when he or she journey [sic] out into space.

I believe that's it for this one. Stay with me, only time will tell when book two comes around and what it will have.
