Try this intriguing look into a bleak future in which Thrush has achieved its goal of world domination, Napoleon has risen high in its ranks and Illya has become the legendary hero of an underground resistance. The alien atmosphere created by the author is not compromised by the insertion of a familiar Illya/Napoleon dynamic, nor are the essences of both characters less potent for the adversarial roles in which Fate and their own natures have placed them. A plot twist at the end leaves room for a satisfying sequel which I encourage this author to consider writing before her muse departs to yet another alternate universe.
