Some Excerpts

I am a relatively new fan of Supernatural, I think I started watching back in Sept 09 when one of my friends made my husband and I watch the 'Ghostfacers' episode. I am a huge fan of Ghost Hunters so I could not stop laughing through the entire ep. To this day, Sam plus Party Hat still makes me laugh like crazy. After that we DL'd the whole first season and then bought 2-4 just after. The rest is history! Okay now to talk art! I've been drawing since I was a teen, even went to school for a degree in it. For a short while I worked as an assistant to a comic book inker which I loved. I learned a lot from him and I think that's why my art has become so heavily black and white these days. Oh yeah, that's another thing: I don't have any full color art! I love working in Black and White and while I can color (haha not well!) I just rarely feel the desire too. Also, coloring and me...we don't get along, lol.

Okay so....I may be one of the weird artists that work almost exclusively in Manga Studio. If you've never heard of the program it's pretty fantastic. Make sure to check out the link there, it is mainly for comikers and sequential type stuff. My absolute favorite feature is the line correction. I actually have fairly shaky hands, especially when I draw so Photoshop (even though I love it). I just can't get the smooth clean lines most artists do. Manga Studio really helps smooth out the jiggle in my lines so...yeah! Also it enables me to work in some really wild textures and tones.
