Arsène Lupin is a fictional gentleman thief and master of disguise created by French writer Maurice Leblanc. The character was then written by several different writers and later appeared in a number of books from other writers as well as numerous film, television, stage play, video game and comic book adaptations. The character would also inspire the long-running manga and anime series Lupin III, the title character being the Japanese grandson of original Lupin and the 2021 Netflix series Lupin (TV Series) about a modern man who becomes a thief after being inspired by the original books.
