And Starry Skies is a gen Star Trek: TOS 35-page zine by Ruth Berman. It is also referred to as "T-Positive."

In her editorial, Ruth says: "This is a collection from fanzines other than T-Negative of my writings about Star Trek. I've omitted some material published in zines which are more or less readily available: the articles in Inside Star Trek 1-9 [address omitted here]; stories, articles, and poems in fanzines edited by Devra Langsam [address omitted here] -- although I've reprinted here from Masiform D the group of poems, 'Nightingale Woman,' as it seems to me to fit in with the mood of the other poems, and gives me a chance to print Roz Oberdieck's illios with them; and a Kraith story, 'Coup de Partie,' in Kraith Collected #3."

From Boldly Writing: "Leading off the issue was "A Rose for Miranda," a story in great demand because it had been mentioned in Star Trek Lives! Ruth included several other stories as well, and ended with two articles about early versions of the scripts for 'Amok Time' and 'The Savage Curtain.."

Reactions and Reviews

[A Rose for Miranda]: A lot of people have noticed that Kirk was risking insanity by lingering in the transporter room when Kollos left. One of the early fanzine stories ("A Rose for Miranda") sequelizes this story by, in fact, having Kirk go insane as a result of his having stuck around. Naturally, Spock gets him back to sanity (I don't remember how; I'd have to dig out my old copy of "Star Trek Lives" for the plot synopsis).[1]
