An All Too Jagged Snowflake (AATJS) is a Soulmate AU fic written by Redhead. It pairs Barry Allen and Leonard Snart and is widely recced in the Flash (TV) fandom. M Says: I always write I am a sucker for Soulmate fics, I am also a sucker for long drawn out epics of over 200,000 words. I have such admiration for authors who can produce such quality work.This fic however bends and occasionally breaks the mould on what we have come to expect a Soulmate Trope fic to be. The author expertly weaves a story full of angst, fluff and poor decision making into something truely remarkable.
Both Barry and Leonard’s reactions to their situation feel canonical and real. Lisa of course is as fabulous as always, but the real highlight of the fic his Hartley Rathaway. Hartleys story is truely wonderful and heartbreaking all at once.
The fic is a huge investment of your time, but it is highly worth the energy just to explore the remarkable world that the author created.[2]
Ahhh! I finally finished this between all the holiday obligations and family stuff! And holy shit guys, what an amazing fic! The world building and character development was unbelievable, the plot and pace were fantastic. Honestly it makes me wish the author took this soulmate au concept and turned it into a published book series (I’d read the shit out of it). Please do yourself a favor and read this fic if you haven’t already. If you have read it consider rereading this roller coaster of a fic again.[3]
