All the World is Waiting for the Sun is a Steve/Danny story by leashy_bebes.
Summary: So there's this tropical storm and everyone's on lockdown, except Steve who, in between interrogating suspects and driving like a maniac, finds time to pick up a milkshake for Grace. And that's basically Danny's last defence against this ridiculous man shot down, isn't it?

Why we love it: It's kind of heard to pick what we loved best about this story, which is really kind of an awesome dilemma. The pacing was really outstanding, the plot and progression were totally believable and the characterizations well done. Plus there was bonus cute as button Gracie! Also the conversation between Danny and Kono at the end was smile inducing. All in all a nicely done get together fic we are happy to rec.[1]
I had no power for 5 days after Hurricane Irene so I figured I would start off with a story about a tropical storm. This is a cute story about Danny and Grace trying to cope with the unfamiliar natural disaster. Of course they have help in the form of advice from Kono and a visit from Steve. Also Danny realizes that any place he has friends like them is a good place to live even if the weather can be scary. As a bonus the Steve and Grace interaction is extra awwww inducing for both Danny and the reader.[2]
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Danny & Grace riding out a tropical storm with advice from Kono and Chin, and Steve coming to check on them. The very best sort of banter and warm-fuzzies, the kind you want to just wrap around you and cuddle (of which there is a bit in the story. Just the right amount.) I mentioned this on lj a while back, but thought I'd include it here, too.[3]
