憧れ AKOGARE, also known as the AKOGARE, A KatsuDeku Zine, is a zine featuring Katsuki Bakugou/Midoriya Izuku fanworks of Boku no Hero Academia.

AKOGARE is a for-profit zine split into four segments that reflect significant periods of Katsuki and Izuku’s relationship. These four segments include their time as childhood playmates, their tumultuous relationship in middle school, the slow and steady acceptance of each other in high school, and lastly their triumphant rise together as pro heroes.
THE ZINE will be printed 21.59cm by 21.59cm (8.5" by 8.5") in full colour on matte paper with subtle gloss. We hope to be able to produce extra merchandise to go with the zine as well. As of now, we project to have about 24 artists and 4 writers contributing to this zine, but the absolute figure may change in the near future depending on the response we get. Some of these contributors will be invited, and some will join us through applications. We will be explicit about the different statuses on our Discord server. [1]
Preorders opened July 2018 and closed September. Zines were shipped in December 2018 through January 2018. Merch bundles included sticker sheets, badges, charms, prints, lanyards, paper dolls, cards, standees, and cross stitch patterns.
