/r/RWBY is a RWBY community hosted on Reddit. The sub was created on Nov 6, 2012, at the same time the first "Red Trailer" was released and went on to become one of the many active RWBY communities. It has attracted more than 90,000 subscribers as of 2019.
On January 18, 2018, /r/RWBY announced /r/FNKI as the official /r/RWBY meme sub so that "low-effort" posts would be less prevalent on /r/RWBY.
